Following the success of the 2025 Resource Therapy International Conference in Ubud, Indonesia, we now bring our second World Conference to Europe.

Join an international community of psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, mental health clinicians, and couples therapists working with parts, trauma, and attachment. We are in talks with Dr Silvia Zanotta Phd as a guest, bringing her Somatic Experiencing lens to parts work. What the system needs for our Complex Trauma Clients. Gordon Emmerson, as the originator, is planning to attend. Details soon.

There will be German/ English professional translators at each session.

This Conference may be a good fit if
You are noticing that:
• Therapy sessions feel layered or complex
• Clients shift between different emotional states
• You are looking for a clearer way to work with parts
• You want more structure without losing flexibility
• You are interested in trauma and attachment-informed practice
It is for people who want sharper thinking, stronger clinical language, and richer conversation about parts work, research, trauma, attachment, and therapeutic change.
A Conference Designed For Real Clinical Practice
This is not a conference built solely on theory.
It is designed for clinicians who want:
clear thinking in complex sessions,
practical ways to work with parts, and
a framework that holds under pressure.
You will explore how Resource Therapy supports direct, structured work with personality parts, also known as Resource States.
Why More Therapists Are Turning To Parts Work Psychology
Many client presentations involve more than one issue at a time. Trauma, attachment injury, internal conflict, dissociation, and persistent emotional patterns often sit side by side.
Without a clear framework, sessions can begin to feel uncertain, repetitive, or difficult to track.
Parts work offers another way of understanding complexity. It helps therapists recognise which part is active, what function it is serving, and how to respond with greater precision.
What You Will Gain
By attending, you will deepen your understanding of parts-based therapy and gain clinically relevant perspectives you can carry back into your work.
The conference is designed to support:
clearer identification of the active part in the session
greater confidence in working with complexity
stronger language for explaining parts work to clients
practical ideas for trauma-informed and attachment-informed practice
connection with an international professional community
Meet The Speakers
Learn From Clinicians Advancing The Work
This conference brings together clinicians, trainers, and educators who are actively shaping the application of Resource Therapy across different settings and countries.
These are practitioners who work with complexity every day. Their contribution lies not only in what they know, but in how they think, how they respond in session, and how they continue to refine their work over time.

International Faculty
Many client presentations now include layers of:
trauma, attachment injury, neglect, internal conflict, and
shifting emotional states.
Without a clear model, sessions can feel uncertain or repetitive.
Parts-therapy offers a way forward.
It allows you to identify which part is active, understand its role, and respond with precision.
That shift often changes the direction of therapy.
Resource Therapy has been termed Advanced Ego State Therapy, acknowledging its historical roots.
