Philipa Thornton

Philipa Thornton is a Sydney-based psychologist, Resource Therapy Master Trainer and Consultant, and President of Resource Therapy International, with more than 30 years of clinical experience.

As Co-Founder and Lead Trainer at the Australia Resource Therapy Institute, she trains and supervises mental health professionals in the clinical application of Resource Therapy, from foundational learning through to advanced practice and trainer development.

Philipa is known for translating complex clinical concepts into clear, practical therapeutic action. Her teaching helps therapists move beyond simply recognising parts to understanding which Resource State needs attention and what to do next. Her style is warm, engaging and clinically grounded, with a strong commitment to high-quality Resource Therapy training and supervision internationally.
