I’ve been waiting to share this one.
I’m delighted to welcome Dr Silvia Zanotta to the RTI Second World Conference 2027 in Erlangen, Germany.
Silvia will join us as both a Keynote Speaker and Workshop Presenter.
And she is bringing an important conversation to the conference.
“Safety before insight. Regulation before narrative.”
Simple words.
But powerful ones when we think about complex trauma.
Resource Therapy for Complex Trauma?
That is the question Silvia will explore in her keynote.
Trauma is not held in words alone.
The body remembers.
The nervous system responds.
Sometimes our clients need to experience safety before they can begin to make sense of what has happened.
Silvia will explore sensory processing, grounding and supportive resources. She will look at what happens when the survival brain takes over.
And she will bring this back to Resource Therapy.
Clear. Practical. Clinically relevant.
Then We Go Into the Work
Silvia is not coming to Erlangen just to give a keynote.
She is also presenting:
Resource Therapy for Complex Trauma: Practical Insights
This is where we move from ideas into experience.
Silvia will bring together Resource Therapy and a somatic perspective.
She will explore the signals we see in the body and nervous system.
And participants will have the opportunity to learn through demonstrations and practical exercises.
For me, that is an important part of a good clinical conference.
Not just listening.
Seeing.
Experiencing.
Learning something you can take back into the therapy room.

New Directions in Parts Therapy
Our 2027 conference theme is New Directions in Parts Therapy.
And I think Silvia’s presentations fit beautifully.
How do we work with parts and also listen to the body?
What does the nervous system tell us?
What changes when regulation comes before narrative?
And where can Resource Therapy go next in our work with complex trauma?
These are conversations worth having.
Together.
Will We See You in Erlangen?
